Being a teenager nowadays is the hardest thing ever, making it worse is modern society’s idea of beauty, which is something completely unreachable. I’ve had a tough childhood and life so far growing up in a town where is you are a little chubby, you are looked down on, and I used to put myself down for that reason.

But over these few months with the help of my older sister, I’ve learned, you have to love yourself first before you can have others love you, because after, all we accept the love we deserve (Perks of Being a Wallflower…I Know).

I know that I want to be loved, and I would like for people to see me and say, “Hey! She thinks she’s beautiful, and she most definitely is.” This blog has inspired me to become more body positive and be comfortable in my own skin, it’s taking me a while to break out of my shell, but one day I will be fully out. I love my body, and I wouldn’t do one thing to change it.

This is probably one of the coolest gemstones I have ever seen. It is the Dom Pedro Aquamarine (from Brazil). It is currently on Display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C, this stone weighs in at an incredible 10,363 carats, and is currently the largest Gem Aquamarine in the world. The lapidary work was done by the world famous and extraordinary Bernd Munsteiner.

Damn now I want a slightly smaller version for my collection :-(, I need to stop…before I get bitter!
